Four years after launching its wheel loaders in Australia, leading Chinese construction equipment supplier SDLG is displaying its latest range of flexible and reliable equipment at this month’s CIVENEX. To celebrate, the company is giving out complementary tickets to the SDLG sponsored AFC match between local heroes Sydney Wanderers and Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Sydney is not only playing host this week to ‘Australia’s premier infrastructure expo’, but also the latest match in the super-competitive Asian Football Confederation – and leading Chinese construction equipment manufacturer SDLG is taking an active part in both proceedings. At CIVENEX, happening at Eastern Creek, Sydney during 14th and 15th May, the company is displaying to visiting councils, government departments and major contractors its latest LG918 and LG938L wheel loaders – machines that are tailor-made for local government and general earthmoving duties.

As the well-established national dealer of SDLG, CJD equipment has a certified parts supply network throughout the country to back up with quick and effective solutions to Australian customers. “There is a discernable shift in the requirements of government buyers and public works contractors for smaller, more affordable and adaptable machines – machines that can handle a greater variety of tasks,” says Andrew Egan, General Manager at SDLG branch of CJD Equipment – SDLG’s national dealer in Australia. “CIVENEX is a good opportunity to display the value proposition these machines present in civil engineering projects. SDLG’s offering of cost-effective, energy-efficient products is meeting with keen interest from government-affiliated buyers who are seeking exactly this from their construction equipment suppliers.”

“With urbanization forecast to grow for another 40 years, it’s important that government spending on transport infrastructure stays ahead of its curve,” agrees Allen Zeng, director of marketing at SDLG. “With strong demand from the road and bridge building sectors, SDLG is well-positioned to offer easy-to-operate, versatile machines that can cater to a variety of jobsite demands. We recognize the great potential of this important market and committed to serving our customers in Australia.”

The two wheel loaders on display at CIVENEX are the SDLG LG918 and the LG938:

-  The LG918 is a 1 m³ wheel loader with an operating weight of 6.2 tons. It features a Yuchai YC4D80-T10 engine with a maximum breakout force of 5,914 kg; two speed transmission; single lever hydraulic pilot control and full powered third function hydraulics; air-conditioned cabin with pillar-less wraparound windscreen. It also comes with a two year, 2 000 hour warranty.

-  The LG938L is a 1.8 m³ wheel loader with an operating weight of 10.7 ton. It features a Deutz six cylinder engine with a maximum breakout force of 9,789 kg; four speed power shift transmission; Single lever hydraulic pilot control and full powered third function hydraulics; a full wraparound glass screen ensuring high visibility. It comes with a two-year, 2,000-hour warranty.

CIVENEX continues until 15th May, coinciding with the SDLG-sponsored AFC knock-out match between Sydney Wanderers and Sanfrecce Hiroshima. This major sponsorship deal is the first of its kind from a Chinese brand in the APAC region. To celebrate this event  CJD Equipment is distributing complementary match tickets at its CIVENEX booth.
